On April 29th I went to my doctors appt hoping that it wouldn't be much longer and even though I was still only 2 cm, the doctor told me to head upstairs for an induction! I was so relieved! I got all checked in and changed and they started the process. They started with the gel at around 10am. That started my contractions about 1-2 minutes apart! But unfortunatly they still weren't doing anything. This lasted through the night! I got a couple of shots of Stadol through the night so I could get a little sleep. By morning there was a new on call doctor and she decided to really get things going by breaking my water. At this point I was about 4-5 cm. When my water broke the pain really began! hard contractions 1 minute apart! I finally got an epidural and unfortunatly it only numbed half of me! So they came back and fixed it. Well that lasted until I was 9 cm and then the epidural quit! They gave me another dose, but I could still feel the pain. finally around 6pm I was ready to push! The pushing was the easiest part, thank goodness! And at 6:24pm Andrew Wade Lemons was born! Weighing in at 8lbs 6ozs and 21 inches long!! BIG boy!! He was perfect! The stress of the long labor made his breathing a little shallow but after a little oxygen he was fine! Well here are a few pics!

I just wanted to take a moment and say how blessed me and my family are! I have a wonderful husband who loves me and has the same eternal goal as I do. We have two great kids that keep us on our toes, but they make us laugh. We have welcomed Nate's niece into our home, because she needed a place to live. And trust me, getting used to a 17 year old in the house is hard, but she is such a great kid and very helpful and we are so happy that she is here. We have very supportive parents that will do almost anything for us. We have the most wonderful friends that we love so much. And now we are sooooooooooooo blessed to be welcoming this new baby into our life! I have wanted so badly to have more kids and at one time that seemed like it just wasn't going to happen. Nate had a vasectomy before we met. And I was really scared to spend the money to get it reversed. My wonderful husband kept telling me it will be fine lets just get the surgery done. I wasn't sure. But with the support of our family and friends we made the decision. And now we are expecting a wonderful miracle baby that was sent to us from our kind and loving Heavenly Father!

Well thank you for letting me express my thanks! THank you to all my wonderful blog buddies for your support and Congrats! I love you all!

P.s. I'm even thankful for the morning sickness, breast tenderness, weepiness, sleepiness, and the rest of the wonderful symptoms that tell me. I really am pregnant!

Well a couple of weeks ago we had to go to Albuquerque for Nate's 6 week check-up, so we decided to have some fun too! We went to the museum of natural history and we also went to Chucky Cheese. It was a short trip, but we had a lot of fun! Oh by the way Nate's check up went great!

Well this was a few weeks ago, but I'm a little behind! We went to Durango with our friends Sam and Sarah. We walked aroung, played some putt putt golf, and then ate dinner at Serious Texas bbq. Then we went home and Sam and Nate watched a movie, but Sarah and I had a water fight with the kids! It was a lot of fun! Also Cheyenne got her first hole in one!

For the Fourth of July we went to our best friend's house Sam and Sarah. Sarah was having a family reunion for her parents and siblings. They were nice enough to invite us over for a bbq and fireworks. We had so much fun. We had delicious ribs(Nate's secret receipe, Sam borrowed the receipe) Corn on the cob, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and dip, vege's, and flag cake. The Flag cake was my contribution. It's really easy to make. I crumbled up angel's food cake in the bottom of the pan until I had the depth I wanted, then I topped it with whipped cream, then I cut up strawberries into fourths and place them and the blueberries, finally I took canned whipped cream and make "stars". It turned out really good and it is sooo easy!The kids are waiting for sparklers.

Not a whole lot has been going on at the Lemons house! We've just been hanging out! I got this cute picture of Matt the other day, but the camera was upside down. We recently got rid of our goats, mostly because I caught one of them on the hood my van! But we had got them originally for weed control. Unfortunately they ate everything except for the weeds! I found my camera and decided to post a couple of pics from the past couple of months. So here are a few of my favorite pics from Cheyenne's birthday. She got some earrings, some bracelet making kits, a storybook kit, and a lot of Hannah Montana stuff! The picture at the bottom is from Cheyenne's school birthday party. They did limbo, played games. and ate cupcakes(that Cheyenne volenteered me to make!). It was great! All the kids had a blast. We took her to the Durango pool for her birthday. I bought a underwater camera to take picture at the pool, so as soon as get those developed I will post them!

Nate's surgery

Well we went to Albuquerque for Nate's surgery on the 3. All went well so far. Our doctor was great! He was able hook the plumbing back up with no problems. We go back on July 21 for testing. I forgot my camera :( but i was able to take a few with my phone. There are before they took him back.

The surgery lasted three hours and he was in recovery for 1 1/2 hours. He is recovering nicely and he went back to work on Monday. I can't find my camera, but when I do I will post some pics of the kids!

Hey all! I'm soooooo sorry! First my camera stopped connecting to my computer right. Second our computer quit working right. Third I've been super busy!! I promise to try to be better! Well so much has happened. Our dog Dodge died, crazy story that I won't share on here! We got a new puppy. Her name is Sunny. She is a lab mix. I will post some pics as soon as I get my camera working right. The kids are good. Cheyenne's birthday is coming up. She wants to go to the new Hannah Montana movie. We started Matt on some herbal medication for his hyperness. It has really worked! He has been doing a lot better in school. Some of you know that Nathan got a vasectomy after Matt was born (before we met). Well we just got the money to get it reversed! We are so excited to try and have another baby! His surgery is June 3rd so please keep us in your prayers! Well I love you all! And please don't give up on me, I will do better at posting!

Hey everybody! Well sorry I've been so distant in my blogging! Busy, busy, busy! Well Nate and I are going to Manti this weekend for our anniversary! I'm super excited! So when I get back I promise to load some pictures from our trip!

First week at school

Well Matt started kindergaten and Cheyenne started 1st grade on Monday! They were both really excited and had a great day!

Second day was not as good. The kids go to seperate schools Because we are in a different district than Matt's mom, so Cheyenne goes to Mccoy and Matt goes to Lideya Rippey. Well I picked Cheyenne up at 2:55 and rushed over to get Matt by 3:05. My mom was with me because we were going to go to town after I picked up the kids. When I got to Matt's school, I went to the pick up line and he was not there. The lady told me that she had already picked up his class, so she told me to go to the front and see if he was in the bus line. I called Lisa(Matt's real mom) to see if she had picked him up on accident and she hadn't. I went up front and could not find him anywhere!!! The office paged his teacher multiple times and she didn't answer the page. They called the bus they thought he might be on and he was not on it. At this point in time I have massive butterflies in my stomach and I am about to lose it. They have "misplaced" my son. After about 20 minutes his teacher strolls in and says "sorry I was busy" They asked her about Matthew and she looked at me and said "I stuck him on a bus." I asked her why and she said that he was a bus rider as of today. I told her I personally watched Lisa write down that he was pick up only. She told me" do you want to see the paper and I said no I need to go get my son, There is nobody home! I rushed to my car and sped to Lisa's house. All I can think about is they are going to drop my 5 year old at a house with no one home. We finally got a hold of the bus driver and they turned the bus around and took him back to school. When I got there Matt was hysterical, as was I. What a wonderful way to get my child excited for school! His teacher later called and said she found the paper and he was a pick up only! Needless to say Wednesday morning we went in and changed Matt's teacher. Thank goodness Matt still looks foward to school! I hope next week is better!

Hey sorry it has taken me so long! What a two weeks I have had! Last week was Girls camp!

Last Monday I and 6 girls from my ward set off to Colorado to go on the 4th year hike. The ride up was quite enjoyable. I got to know the some of the girls a lot better. The girls I took up are wonderful girls! When we got there I loaded my 33 pound bag onto my back. I am a little worried at this point and we haven't even started! The girls assure me "Sister Lemons it's an easy hike!" So off we go! About an hour into our hike I am definatley starting to feel the burn. Then it happens, coming down a steep hill, I twist my bad ankle. I feel it start to swell! Not good! So I get it wrapped up and Doyle informs me that I can't carry my pack for awhile. He said that he would rather carry my pack than have to carry me out the next day. So there I am limping and packless enjoying my not so easy hike! The 4 girls I was with Kasey, Hannah, Mariah, and Kodi were carrying 6 packs between them! We some how managed to get to our camping spot at 4:30(we were supossed to get ther at 12:30). I went and stuck my ankle in the river to help the swelling. BIG MISTAKE! It was so cold it sent shooting pains up my leg! We then set up camp and ate dinner. After braiding hair for more heads than I can remember, Rick Palmer gave a really great talk for our fireside. Then we went to bed.

Next morning we got up and ate breakfast braided more hair and started again on our horrific journey. The whole trip back is up hill! It was hot and I was in awful pain! I carried my pack almost the whole way back. about 40 minutes at the end Hannah came back and carried my pack. about 1:45 I saw the most beautiful thing MY VAN! When I sat down in my van I felt so relieved!

We then drove to camp. I was so tired when I got there I really thought about going home. But I stayed. We worked on our skit which was about Ruth and Naomi. The girls did a great job except for a few giggles! The next day the girls worked on their certification lunches then wrote their testamonies into Book of Mormons. That night was testamonie night. Almost every one of our girls stood and bore their testamonies include several investigators! Three of our investagators that went have decided to be baptized! I am so proud of our girls! That night it started to rain. And it rained all night and half of the next day! Laura and I had to take some sleeping bags to be dried. That night was bishop's night. What a spiritual night it was! The girls, on their own, gathered around the fire and sang church hyms. Then we went around the circle and shared our favorite scripture. It was great.

Friday we packed up and came home! I went home ate a Subway sandwitch, Took the longest shower, and crashed!

Nate and I have been talking about getting a goat for awhile now. Well this morning Nate decided it was time, so we all loaded up first thing this morning and drove to La Plata! When we got there we picked two that we like and payed the money, that was the easy part. We then loaded them into the back of my jeep and I sat back there with them to keep them calm. SCARY! They did not like that! It was a LONG trip home! When we got home Nate remembered that we had no where to put our new goats. So he spent the day building a fence. Not as easy as he thought! It was finally completed at 6:00 this evening! What a day! So these are some pictures of the latest editions to our family, the white one is marshmellow and the brown one is Graham Cracker. We are looking for a dark brown one so we can name it Hershey then we can make smores'! LOL

Well last evening, Cheyenne tells her dad that she wants her training wheels off! So Nate takes them off and all of a sudden my baby girl is not so much a baby anymore! It makes me so sad to think that she is growing up so fast. Just yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital and now she just had her sixth birthday and is riding her bike without training wheels! Well now that I have vented a little, I'll move on. We had a fun evening of bike riding and enjoying the beautiful weather! You can see in the background that we have a lot of work to do to our land! Oh well someday it will be beautiful, baby-steps!

My blog has finally been created! Well a little catch up, Nathan and I have been married since Sept. 17 2005. We have his and her kids. Cheyenne is mine from a previous marriage and Matthew is Nate's from a previous relationship. We just got sealed in the Albuquerque Temple on May 2! It was great! My mom and dad got sealed as well! It was a wonderful day! We also went to the zoo that weekend. The kids had a blast.
